I am a living testament to the fact that you never chose your friends given their racial status. You treated me with such love and friendliness since we met in the 5th grade. Your friendliness and beautiful smile always lit up my day all of the way until I shared the last of our sporadic lives togther. I loved watching the beautiful love that you and Chris had together while Chris and I were growing up on Princeton Place, but I I have to say that I wasn't a fan of yours and Chris' experiences with the lizards!! I also remember the great times we used to have at Kim Hay's house on the top of Princeton Place. Thank you again for all of your kindness and acceptance of myself. I will never forget you Mike.

Mike was a special person who touched many of our lives. He will live through all of us that knew and loved him, until we are all together again someday. Mike is at peace, and doesn't have to struggle anymore, he is as he was a wonderful soul, I am proud to have called my friend. Our love and prayers go out to his family.
